Tool "Triangulation of sphere by MRP"

Triangulation of sphere by method of recursive partitioning. Menu: Draw->Triangulation of sphere by MRP

Allows you to create a sphere of a given radius, the specified accuracy of approximation (AA) at a given point.

When selecting a tool cursor takes a form of a pencil with small regular icosahedron.

  1. You can enter accuracy of approximation into the Measurements Toolbar. This may be a numerals from 1 to 6 (default - 4). The following table shows the dependence of the number of faces and edges on the accuracy of approximation:

  2. Press the left mouse button to indicate the center point of the sphere

  3. Move the cursor from the center point to define the radius of sphere.
    You can enter radius into the Measurements Toolbar.
  4. Esc = cancel.
  5. Just one question: smooth or not edges?
